During her professional career, Nili Newman played with most of the UK’s leading orchestras, including the London Philharmonic, Philharmonia, and Royal Philharmonic. She was a top prize winner in national and international competitions, including the Kuhlau International Competition, British Flute Society, and Concert Artists Guild in New York.

She trained at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia with Julius Baker and at the Royal Academy of Music with William Bennett. She retrained as a lawyer in her thirties, but has recently returned to her love of flute playing and performing.

Mark Rogers is an American pianist specializing in vocal and chamber music. Together with regular recital partner Florian Stortz, they won the prix de Melodie at the Concours Nadia et Lili Boulanger and the First prize at the Helmut Deutsch Lieder Competition.

Mark performs regularly with musicians on the Countess of Munster and Philharmonia schemes and has played concerts at the Scottish Parliament and at the Malmo Radhuset.
